Daughter of Edward Andrew Noel of Alvington, Gloucestershire, and his wife Sarah Gay Forbes Noel née Darwin; granddaughter of William Brown Darwin of Elston. Married Thomas Hamilton Forsyth (1844–1936), army officer, in 1873.
