Fellow of Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, 1869; Diploma in State Medicine, Trinity College, Dublin, 1873. Physician to Cork Street Fever Hospital and Dr Steevens’ Hospital. Registrar General of Ireland, 1879–1900. President, Statistical Society of Ireland, 1888–90; Dublin Sanitary Association, 1885–88; Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, 1895 and 1896.
