Maurice Sédillot
1849–1933
French amateur entomologist. Independently wealthy, he made several collecting voyages in Europe and North Africa, focusing particularly on the Iberian peninsula. He collected Coleoptera for a fauna of the Iberian region but never completed the project. Member of the Société entomologique de France from 1869.
