Eugène Simon
1848–1924
French arachnologist and naturalist. Educated at the Sorbonne and worked at the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle, Paris. Worked principally on spider taxonomy, but also on hummingbirds and phyllopods (branchiopod crustaceans).
