Louisa Anne Meredith
1812–95
Writer, artist, and naturalist. Emigrated to Australia with her husband in 1839, living from 1840 in Tasmania. Wrote and illustrated books on the natural life of Tasmania and the impact of settlers. A notable scientific collector and correspondent.
