Henry Martyn Field
1822–1907
American clergyman and author. Pastor of the Third Presbyterian Church in St Louis, Missouri, 1842–7. Travelled in Europe before returning as pastor to a Congregational church in West Springfield, Massachusetts, 1851–4. Settled in New York and became editor of the Evangelist, from 1854. Wrote travel books and other works.
