Elizabeth Edgeworth (1780–1797)
1753–97
Daughter of Major Edward Sneyd of Lichfield and his wife Susanna Cook. Sister of Honora Edgeworth, Richard Lovell Edgeworth’s second wife; married him as his third wife after Honora’s death in 1780. Lived on Edgeworth’s Irish estate from 1782 and devoted herself with Edgeworth to the education of their children.
