French physician. MD 1848. Secretary-general, Société des sciences médicales de Paris, 1861–5. Member, Société philomatique and Société d’anthropologie. Professor of zoology, Institut catholique de Paris. Published several works on zoology, anthropology, and medicine, including Notice sur les travaux anthropologiques de Gratiolet (1869), and Essai sur l’appareil locomoteur des oiseaux (1874).
