John Weir
1779/80–1855
Bank manager and clerk. Born in Stanhope, County Durham. Married Elizabeth Jenner in Lewes, Sussex, in 1821. Bank manager in Lewes, and later administration clerk in the legacy duty office at Somerset House, London. Father of John Jenner Weir and Harrison William Weir.
