Robert William Mylne
1817–90
Engineer and geologist. Worked with his father, the architect William Mylne, in London for twenty years, and became an authority on water supply and drainage. Engineer to the Limerick Water Company. Surveyor to the Stationers’ Company, 1861–90. Served on the council of the Geological Society of London, 1854–68 and 1879. FRS 1860.
