Robert Mylne
1633–1710
Scottish master mason. Succeeded his uncle as master mason to Charles II in 1668. Reconstructed the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh to William Bruce’s designs, 1671–80. Rebuilt stone tenements in Edinburgh after the 1674 fire.
