John Talbot Dillwyn Llewelyn
1836–1927
Politician. BA, Oxford, 1858; MA, 1861. Mayor of Swansea, 1891; MP for Swansea 1895–1900. Noted as an amateur botanist and horticulturist. Reported the first sighting of a monarch butterfly in Britain in 1876.
