Carl Hoffmann
1802–83
German publisher and bookseller. Acquired a bookshop with a lending library in Stuttgart, 1826. After 1833 devoted himself exclusively to an added publishing house. Publications included popular scientific works and botanical works. Later included a printing press and lithographic office.
