George Parkes Wall

1832–1912

Mining engineer, geologist and industrialist. Associate in mining at the Royal School of Mines, 1855. Director of the Geological Survey of Trinidad, circa 1856–60. Worked on the Geological Survey of Jamaica in the 1860s before returning to England to become a manufacturer of steel and steel wire in Sheffield.
