Pierre Louis François Levêque (Louis) de Vilmorin
1816–60
French botanist. President of the Paris seed firm Vilmorin-Andrieux et Cie from 1843. Published papers on the breeding of cereal grains, potatoes, sugar-beet, and flowers.
