1832–99

Scottish-born writer and illustrator. Eldest daughter of James Milne and Louisa Falconer of Findhorn, Morayshire. Niece of Hugh Falconer, with whom she travelled widely. Married George McCall (died 1856) in 1854, and Joseph Prestwich, later professor of geology at Oxford University, in 1870.
