Gilbert Elliot Murray (Gilbert) (Elliot) Kynynmound, 2d earl of Minto
1782–1859
Politician and diplomat. His father took the additional name of Murray Kynynmound in 1797. First Lord of the Admiralty, 1835–41. Succeeded as second earl of Minto in 1814.
